This is announced by Usb – it will concern the management/handlers/catering sectors – after a 64-year-old worker employed by a contracting company died falling from the roof of the terminal on which he was carrying out work on the air-conditioning system. “If on the one hand we will necessarily have to wait for the outcome of the investigations to understand all the responsibilities,” reads a Usb note, “on the other, it is clear that the failure or partial application of all the protective measures that caused the accident is part of the logic of the obsession with production push and cost cutting, linked in particular to the perverse logic of contracts.
