ベトナム、25年から電子たばこ禁止　若者の依存防ぐ

ベトナムは2025年から電子たばこを禁止する。規制により、特に10代の若者などが依存する事態を未然に防ぎたい考えだ。電子たばこに対する規制は東南アジアではタイ、シンガポールに続く動きとなる。

【ホーチミン=リエン・ホアン】ベトナムは2025年から電子たばこを禁止する。規制により、特に10代の若者などが依存する事態を未然に防ぎたい考えだ。電子たばこに対する規制は東南アジアではタイ、シンガポールに続く動きとなる。タイ、シンガポールに続くベトナム国会は11月末、電子たばこを禁止する決議を採択した。反対派は、電子たばこは健康への悪影響が比較的少なく、依存者の禁煙も手助けすると主張していた

以下の現地報道によりますと、罰金の対象となると、電子タバコの使用、製造、保管、取引などを禁止する法律が運用され、違反者には罰金が課せらる

 

Vietnam’s Ministry of Health has proposed new penalties for harboring and using e-cigarettes, as part of its effort to enforce a nationwide ban on novel tobacco products from 2025.

The National Assembly agrees to ban the production, trade, import, harboring, transportation, and use of e-cigarettes, heated tobacco products, and addictive substances harmful to human health starting in 2025 to ensure public health and social order.”

With this resolution, Vietnam becomes the sixth Southeast Asian nation to prohibit novel tobacco products.

 

Vietnamese law includes clear penalties for producing, harboring, and transporting prohibited goods. Under Articles 190 and 191 of the Penal Code, penalties range from fines of 50–100 million VND (approximately 2,100–4,200 USD) to imprisonment of 1–5 years.
